Unbelievable ... in the middle of nowhere we hit the small town of Hill End and outside of the pub, sitting on a fence post is a canadian club beer bottle .... just a reminder of our fond affection for all things Canadian!

We went to Sofala and Hill End for a day and had a great time .... but everywhere there were reminders of the fact that wherever you go .... Canada somehow seems to be there too .... i'm wearing a Canada Games '06 sweatshirt (thank you auntie ingrid), and this .... this is what a Maple leaf might look like .... the traditional icon of Kanuk land .....
